Bio: Minister Angel Griggs-Spann – daughter of Dr. Jerome and Dr. Arlene Griggs-Spann, is an Internationally Known Independent National Gospel Professional
Recording Artist, Singer, Songwriter, Worship Leader, Global Award-Winning Vocal & Studio Coach (2020).
Global Inspirational Award-Winning Music Director, Vocal Producer, Contracted Studio Vocalist, Creator of Background Harmonies, Special Events and Causes Soloist, and Multi-Ranged Vocalist. You will find Angel’s voice on more than 300 professionally recorded Artist projects.
Angel is also the CEO/Founder of Angel4rGodsmusic Ministry (A Multi-Passioned ministry that brings Angel’s love for God, music, her students, and mankind under one blanket.
Angel’s voice has been classified as very unique, soft, and smooth with a powder-puff texture; and was heavily influenced by some of her favorites, Vickie Winans, Whitney Houston, Cece Winans, Veronica Petrucci, Natalie Cole, Deniece Williams, and various others. She says she enjoys all types of music from, Gospel, R&B, Hip Hop, Classical, Jazz, Go-Go and very selective Rap. She has grown to appreciate the art and beauty of music on so many spectrums and sees music as an artistic therapeutic way of creating a visual of what her feelings look like.
Minister Angel often says that she is an addicted worshipper and a thriving survivor of several health challenges that should have ended her life. She is an overcomer and has vowed to honor her calling from God, and empower, impact, inspire, encourage, and heal as many people as possible for His Glory! Her experiences and unquenchable love for gospel music and impacting lives for the Lord, rewards her the opportunity to minister at numerous venues and platforms throughout the United States with her band, ‘Angel & Friends’ and by faith she will reach more international platforms soon.
Outside of the studio Minister Angel’s ministry reaches and feeds the homeless monthly and she has also partnered with RESA, INC (nonprofit), Beautiful and Empowered (BAE) LLC, and The New Royal Family which are all community outreach organizations. Together we work to heal the world, heal hunger, help the homeless, abolish domestic violence, and be an Ambassador of hope.
